Olive Garden Salad
One of my favorite things is the salad at Olive Garden. A few months back I decided to search for a copy cat recipe. I found this one at Big Oven. I have made it multiple times for lots of people, and it has been a fan favorite every time. I have included just the recipe for the salad dressing. If you have never had an Olive Garden salad and are wondering what things to include in the actual salad you can get their suggestions by clicking on the link. One thing I add that Olive Garden doesn’t include in avocado. That is mostly because I think that almost anything tastes better with avocado.
Olive Garden Salad Dressing
| ½ cup Mayonnaise
1/3 cup White vinegar |
1 teaspoon Vegetable oil
2 tablespoons Corn syrup
2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons Romano cheese (I will often just use 4 tablespoons of Parmesan)
1 clove Garlic
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon Parsley flakes
1 tablespoon Lemon juice
1 tablespoon Sugar
Put everything in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Toss with salad and enjoy.
Do you know what would make this even better? Combining it with Olive Garden breadsticks!! Maybe that needs to be my next project.
I love the feeling of eating out without having to pay to eat out. What about you guys? Do you have any copy cat recipes that you truly love? Share them here, so we can all experience the goodness.

And someone please, please figure out how to copy cat Solos Pizza. Thanks. (please)
